Adam Milstein Shares Information on Real Estate Investing And His Background with Ideamensch
Adam Milstein manages one of the nation’s most dynamic real estate investment companies, Hager Pacific Properties. The company owns luxurious commercial and residential properties across four states and has facilitated numerous broker deals for investors. In addition to his work in real estate, Milstein is a philanthropist whose goals are to support the Jewish American community and promote ties between Israel and the US through not only financial gifts but also through being involved on the local level with these groups. Milstein has spoken at many Jewish leader conferences and university campuses and was listed in the Jerusalem Post’s Top 50 Most Influential Jews column last year. Ideamensch, an entrepreneurial blog interviewed Milstein not long ago.
Adam Milstein told Ideamensch that his idea to start a real estate investment company began while he was in graduate school and found an interest in a field he felt he could break into on his own. It took some time but he gradually accumulated assets and said as he did so that it brought more structure to his business and has made his endeavors easier, though he certainly does not shy away from going out on his own to get things done. Milstein also said that he does better in spontaneous situations than he does setting goals and simply following those, and one software system he recommends is Constant Contact for keeping track of all business leads.
Adam Milstein began Hager Pacific Properties back in the early 1980s, but prior to that he lived in Israel and served in the Israeli Military during the Yom Kippur War. Once his service was complete he worked alongside his father in building framing and construction and also ran a business selling art to the temples while attending the Technion, Israeli Institute of Technology. He is married to Gila Milstein and is a father of three daughters and also a grandfather. He founded the Milstein Family Foundation and Sifriyat Pijama B’America, a Hebrew learning school in the year 2000 and also helped form the Israeli-American Council not long after. He’s also on the boards of AIPAC, Hillel International, StandWithUs, Birthright Israel and Hasbara Fellowships.
